Joining is easy! Just follow these steps:

Fill out the membership application
Submit your application in one of two ways:

After processing, you are a member of Beverly-Marblehead Sail & Power Squadron and the United States Power Squadrons - WELCOME!
Membership Requirements
Must be able and willing to contribute time, energy and skills to the objectives of USPS
Must be accepted by the Squadron Executive Committee
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have paid all applicable entrance fees and dues as required by National, District and Squadron

Takes courses
Attends meetings
Votes
Holds elected or appointed office
Earns merit marks
Receives The Ensign
Additional Active Member
Takes courses
Attends meetings

Family
Takes courses
Earns family merit marks
Attends meetings but cannot vote
Family members under the age of 18 are classified as junior family members for dues purposes only
Apprentice / Sea Scout
Takes courses
Apprentice membership extends from age 12 to end of the dues year of 17th birthday
Sea Scouts from 14 years to the end of the dues year or 23rd birthday
Receives the Ensign
Membership Fees and Dues Structure
Checks should be made out to "Beverly-Marblehead Sail & Power Squadron" or "BMSPS".
Individual Active Member - Annual Dues: $72.00
Includes National dues ($55), District assessment ($7) and local Squadron dues ($10)
Individual Active Member with Family - Annual Dues: $108.00
Includes National dues ($82.50), District assessment ($10.50) and local Squadron dues ($15.00)
Family membership includes original active member any additional active members or family members.
Reinstatement of Membership - Active Member-Current dues; Active Member with Family- current dues
If you were a previous member you may be reinstated by payment of the current year's dues. If it has been more than 1 year, your dues anniversary due date will be reset to the time of submittal.
Transfers from another squadron
There are no fees to transfer an active membership from another squadron.
